We specialize in wood aluminium facade- and window-elements, exclusive fitted kitchens, interior design and complete on-site renovations.

We stand for creative ideas, detailed planning and professional implementation. Your ideas and architectural requirements are our foundation. Combined with photorealistic planning software and the use of state-of-the-art processing and CNC manufacturing techniques, your requirements are turned into genuine objects. Management

Three generations of family tradition.

In 1928 Theodor Draude, a wheelwright from Fritzlar in northern Hesse, laid the foundation for the Draude company. During the economic boom of the golden 1920s, the business model changed gradually towards carpentry trade. His son Bernhard continued the family tradition as a journeyman in the mid-1950s and later earned his master craftsman's certificate. The establishment of a handicraft shop in the enterprise, located in the city-center of Fritzlar, was the basis for the further development of the company. In 1997 Berhard Draude handed over the family business to his son Jürgen, the current owner of the Draude Design GmbH.

Our team is the heart of our business and pulsates with 20 employees: skilled craftsmen, journeymen, master craftsmen, planers and draftsmen comprise our productive, creative team – working for you.

From the initial idea, through the planning process to the finished product: We supply our customers with high-quality window-, door- and facade-elements as well as designer kitchens and furniture – including assembly, if required.

Individuality

For you, we create high-quality, functional and, if required, ergonomic (furniture-) elements in a distinctive design, far removed from standard run-of-the-mill solutions. From sketch, to sampling, to CAD planning: In our planning office, the first design ideas are put on paper. The hand-drawn sketches are implemented through detailed CAD planning, which constitutes the basis for our production. For us, close cooperation with our customers, architects, interior designers and working colleagues is mandatory.

Wood – a special kind of element. It impresses with its unique look and grain. Each (work-) piece is unique with its own character in terms of material and shape.

This is where the heart of our company beats – this is where your ideas gradually take shape. With a balanced mix of manual work and modern CNC machine technology, plans are made and implemented.

Our machinery – modern and effective

We manufacture using state-of-the-art CNC systems. By using planning software, extensive facilities can be stylishly developed, planned, optimized and visualized in detail for our customers in advance. Our machine outfit enables efficient implementation – reliably and in the highest quality.

Using our wits – our training company

Craftsmanship at a high level – that’s what we stand for. Now and in the future. That is why we continuously train young people and young adults to become qualified and motivated journeymen carpenters.

Sustainability

Wood is a renewable raw material, it scores in processing with the advantages of optics and feel, low waste and its processing quality. The production of cutting residues is reduced to a minimum through the use of optimization software in the planning and cutting area. The wood chips are compressed and used for heating. The solar contribution: a photovoltaic system on top of the production hall provides a large part of the energy required in production.
